In the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 social apps in Cyprus exhibited diverse trends in downloads and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

TikTok showed a fluctuating pattern in both weekly downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at 5.5K in mid-April and then gradually declined to around 3.1K by the end of June. Revenue saw a decrease from around $31K at the beginning of April to approximately $24K by the end of June, with some variability throughout the quarter.

SoulChill - Voice Chat & Party experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, starting from $194 at the end of March and reaching a peak of $1.3K in mid-June, before dropping to around $775 by the end of June. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 60 to 100 downloads per week.

Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat displayed a moderate fluctuation in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads ranged from 68 to 97 throughout the quarter, while revenue saw a peak of approximately $1.4K in mid-April, eventually declining to around $641 by the end of June.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative had consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 250 to 300. Revenue peaked at approximately $562 in late April and then fluctuated around $400 to $500 for the rest of the quarter, ending at around $365 by the end of June.

Bigo Live - Live Streaming App showed significant revenue growth during Q2 2022. The app's revenue increased from around $424 at the end of March to a peak of $773 in mid-June, before settling at approximately $437 by the end of June. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 281 in the last week of June.
